Enrich your life…volunteer! Aspirus volunteers are men and women ages 14 and older, each with unique gifts and talents. Aspirus offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit anyone's interest and schedule - from opportunities at the hospital, to visiting directly with hospice patients and their families in the Marathon County area, to other special projects. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to meet new and interesting people, make a difference in the lives of our patients and families, develop friendships, cultivate leadership skills, and build self-esteem while making a positive impact in your community.
- Patient/Family Support (Home Care):
Volunteers provide emotional support to patients and their families. Volunteers can visit with patients in their homes or in community residences - examples include: reading to patients, going for walks in wheelchair, providing caregivers a short respite from daily living responsibilities, providing a comforting presence, and much more!
