Who We Are
In this day and age, the number of at-risk youth in our community continues to increase at an alarming rate. Through no fault of their own, many school-aged children have to endure the effects of poverty, neglect, abuse, addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and other traumas. Students who don’t have their basic needs met also often struggle in school, and the ripple effect of school failure can be devastating far into the future, often continuing the cycle they are so desperately trying to overcome. In the near future we plan to open a youth life skills center offering a safe place for teens to hang out while giving them access to mentorship, advocacy and resources in the community to meet their specific needs. This center will work hard to bring the resources to the student, and to provide the academic, physical, and emotional support a student needs. Beyond basic needs, we will work hard to provide opportunities for enrichment, learning life skills while making positive community connections.
What We Do
Our mission is to provide a central hub of resources and information for our most vulnerable youth, to offer a sense of hope and inspiration, and to uplift and empower one student at a time.
