Who We Are
Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity of Wausau has helped more 70+ families in our community. The local Wausau affiliate initiates and manages all construction, mortgages, and homeowner selection. Partner families are chosen according to their need, their ability to repay a fractional-interest mortgage, and their willingness to work in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity relies on volunteer labor to construct simple and affordable homes for its partner families.
What We Do
Habitat for Humanity of Wausau builds homes with partnering families using the proceeds from our resale store. In-Kind donations of building materials, solid wood furniture, appliances and house hold items allow us to fund our mission.
The ReStore is accepting donations on Tuesday mornings 8am - noon, Thursdays & Fridays from 8:00 am - 4pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm.
