We are the Wausau Festival of Arts Board -- an all-volunteer board charged with planning and staging the annual Wausau Festival of Arts.
What We Do
The Wausau Festival of Arts Board is charged with planning and staging one of Wausau’s beloved arts events during the Artrageous weekend. The festival is held every September, the first weekend after Labor Day and hosts over 120 artists in downtown Wausau each year. In addition to hosting artists, the festival board awards art scholarships to local students who are looking to pursue art as a career. We also host one to two up an coming artists as part of our Emerging Artists program, so they get a taste of art festival life.
