United Way Volunteer Connection is offering a way to help on Make A Difference Day--Raking leaves for those in the community who are disabled, elderly, frail, and physically unable to take on such a large task and do not have family in the area to help. By spending a few hours of your day volunteering on Make A Difference Day, you will make a BIG difference to others!
- Drivers/Haulers - Individuals or groups with trucks or trailers are needed to pick up bagged leaves and haul them to area yard waste sites both on and after Make A Difference Day. Times are flexible. Volunteer must provide own truck and/or trailer for hauling leaves. A valid driver's license is required. Small gas card provided.
