At Interim HealthCare we honor our vets! We believe that professionally-trained hospice volunteers are often the heart of an organization and are a crucial part of our team—they give the gift of their time to those in need. In this volunteer position, you’ll collaborate with our hospice team, as well as provide practical support services to patients and their families. Being a caregiver for a vet can be a tough job and having a military background as a volunteer for a vet, makes the patient more comfortable, and relatable. Veteran volunteers are matched with veteran patients that enjoy the comradery and companionship of a fellow veteran. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Maya at 715-842-7707 or email mwill@ihc-health.com for more information on how to become a veteran volunteer.
