Who We Are

Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin:

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin (ADRC-CW) promotes choice and independence through personalized education, advocacy, and access to services that prevent, delay, and lessen the impacts of aging and disabilities in the lives of adults.

We serve Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon and Wood Counties, with offices in Antigo, Marshfield, Merrill, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids.

What We Do

Community Resources for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities:  Resource Specialists provide information about choices you have when making decisions about where to live, what kind of help you need, where to receive the care and help you need and how to pay for it.

Benefit for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities:  Benefit Specialists provide unbiased information about benefits, including health care, disability income, and programs that best meets individual needs.

Support for Caregivers: Caregiver Support Coordinators provide information, support and resources to adults who are providing help and/or support to a family member of friend.

Dementia Support Services: Dementia Care Specialists work with individuals and families to offer them a deeper understanding of dementia and the impact of the disease over time.

Meals for Seniors: Our nutrition programs consist of Meals on Wheels, Senior Dining and Cafe 60. Meals on Wheels provides a nutritious meal delivered with a well check. Senior Dining is a nutritious meal, socialization and education. Cafe 60 is a nutritious meal and socialization in a participating restaurant.

Fall Prevention Education: Have you had a fall or are you concerned about your balance? The ADRC-CW coordinates and provides Stepping On, a 7 week fall prevention program.

Volunteering: Get involved today! Volunteers help to create a supportive and welcoming community for older adults and adults with disabilities. We could not achieve our mission without volunteers.
