The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a spiritual community fostering improved self-sufficiency and leads by example. We promote the well-being of all who come to us, including those who are unable to meet their basic needs of be self sufficient. We coordinate a comprehensive array of emergency services to meet basic needs: food, shelter, clothing, spiritual counseling and other support services as resources allow. It is our commitment to direct those in need to the most appropriate program or service available, whether offered by The Salvation Army or another agency or provider.

The Salvation Army is Christian based Organization offering:

• Church and Worship Meetings  Women s Fellowship, Men's Fellowship, Youth Groups, Sunday Worship, Bible Studies and more.
• Emergency Disaster Service  Assisting Emergency Responders and Victims of a Disaster.
• Social Services Food Pantry, Rent, Electricity Assistance, Hair Cut vouchers, Case Management, Medication and Bridge Street Clinic vouchers.
• Pathway of Hope  Working with Families with Minor Children, providing case management to reach a higher self-sufficiency level.
• Free Lunch Monday - Saturday 11:30am -12:30 pm Everyone invited, no questions asked.
• Transitional Living Center  "Shelter" help to return to permanent housing.
• Youth Programs After school program for youth 1st grade thru 8th Grade.  Christian Youth Program, Summer programs and Camps. 
• Seasonal Assistance -  Tools for school, Christmas Assistance, Coats for Kids
