Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers are needed to keep our night shelter open. Volunteering at The Good Shepherd Shelter can take many forms, including donating food, preparing meals, serving meals, distributing bedding and clothing, helping guests read and understand our policies and procedures, and interacting with guests to help them feel welcome and included in our community. Whatever your schedule and comfort level permits, we have a volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteer roles include:
- Intake helpers from 6:00-9:00 pm
- Kitchen Crew from 6:00-9:00 pm
- Meal providers to supply and deliver meals between 6-6:15 pm
- Overnight hospitality 9:00 pm-2:00 am and 2:00 am-8:00 am
- Morning hospitality from 6-8:00 am
