United Way of Marathon County's Community Closet provides free clothing for people of all ages for all occasions.
Guest experience volunteers are needed to help in the Community Closet during shopping hours, to help guests complete registration, provide referrals to other agencies, and assist guests with shopping as needed. Volunteers will be supported by program staff. This role is a great fit for volunteers who love meeting people and helping provide for their basic needs!
Volunteers will go through simple training before signing up for shifts. Background checks will be required for regular ongoing volunteers.
When?
Mondays – 2:45pm to 5:15pm
Tuesdays – 2:45pm to 5:15pm
Thursdays – 8:45am to 12:15pm
Where?
The Community Closet is located at 705 S. 24th Avenue, Suite 440. We share a building with T-Mobile, and the Community Closet is on the north side of the building.
Time Commitment
