Community Closet Donation Processing Volunteers Needed

Description

United Way of Marathon County's Community Closet provides free clothing for people of all ages for all occasions.

Donation processing volunteers are needed to help staff the Community Closet during donation intake hours, to sort through clothing donations and prepare items to be hung on the shopping floor. We believe that guests to the Community Closet should receive clothing they can wear with dignity and pride, so we ask volunteers to assess items for quality and wear before they are given to guests.

Volunteers will go through simple training before signing up for shifts. Background checks will be required for regular ongoing volunteers.
