Volunteers are needed for the District Solo & Ensemble Event held at Wausau East on Saturday, February 24th. We have various roles to be filled for the event day. Your role will be coordinated with Kirsten Hornby after signing up here.
Solo & Ensemble is an annual music competition for students in grades 7-12 who perform in front of an audience and adjudicator, and receive feedback on their performance.
Room Monitors: assist a trained judge with facilitating the room schedule for student music performances. Monitor for attendance, cancellations and help to keep halls quiet during performances.
Runners: pick up judge’s forms and return to headquarters throughout the day.
Concessions: serve snacks and lunch items.
Headquarters Helper: seeking an organized individual to work at the headquarters conducting data entry, running reports, and helping keep the event running from the main hub.
This is an all-day event. Volunteers may bring a packed lunch or purchase one on site. Half day roles may be coordinated by request
No previous experience or music expertise required. No previous experience as a Wausau School District Volunteer is required.
